BAM! Comedy – the two-person creative team made up of married couple Bec and Sam Bartley – have been shortlisted for Content Creator of the Year at the UK Content Awards 2026.
What started as a shared love of comedy and filmmaking has grown into one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent comedy creator brands, with BAM! now generating millions of monthly views across platforms and a combined audience of over 720,000 followers.
BAM! write, direct, perform, film and edit all of their content themselves, blending musical comedy with narrative-driven sketch to create a highly distinctive style across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and Facebook.
Over the past 12 months, BAM! have focused on scaling both their audience and creative output while maintaining the originality and production quality that define their work. A major breakthrough came through their viral Pancake Day video, which generated over 30 million views and sparked widespread audience participation online. Viewers recreated and adapted the format across social media, helping transform a single sketch into a repeatable comedy series.

Alongside their organic content, BAM! have also built a growing portfolio of commercial work, favouring long-term collaborations with brands including Moonpig and BBC/TV Licensing. A key priority for the duo has been ensuring branded content feels as entertaining and creatively ambitious as their non-commercial work.
The past year has also brought significant industry recognition. BAM!’s work has received awards from the British Comedy Guide and Comedy Crowd’s Chorts, alongside shortlistings at the UK Top Influencer Awards, TellyCast Digital Video Awards and the Royal Television Society Southern Centre Awards. They were also selected for the Cannes Lions Creator Fund and OKRE’s Laughing Matters Fellowship. Signing with The Comedy Influence for brand partnerships has also enabled them to focus more time on creative development and production.
For Bec and Sam, being shortlisted for Content Creator of the Year is a meaningful milestone – not just because of the scale their content has reached, but because it recognises the years spent building a sustainable creative business from the ground up.
Bec & Sam say: “We’ve been making comedy content together since we met in Wetherspoons 11 years ago. What started as a hobby has become a fully-fledged content creation business. To have our work recognised in the UK Content Awards is hugely exciting and we are honoured!”

As BAM! continue expanding into long-form development, podcasting and live comedy, the shortlist marks another exciting step in their evolution from social creators into a broader entertainment brand.
