PR With Purpose: Bamboo’s Small But Mighty Efforts

Bamboo is the calm, trustworthy voice in a shouty, technology-obsessed world. We deliver smart, strategic marketing and PR for B2B technology brands that want to grow with care, clarity, and purpose.

For nearly two-and-a-half decades, this approach has enhanced brand awareness, promoted revolutionary technologies through outstanding content, and grown our clients’ businesses online and off.

Our close-knit team of seven softens the hard edges of the tech industry, making a sector often seen as cold and complex approachable, accessible and human. The fact that we’ve retained multiple clients and team members for over ten years speaks to our excellent work, positive culture and unbreakable team spirit.

That’s why being shortlisted for Best Small PR Agency of the Year at the 2026 UK Content Awards means so much to us. It showcases our commitment to our clients and their success, as well as the success of Team Bamboo.

Revitalising Our Brand To Better Serve Our Clients

Our goal this past year was to revitalise our brand by highlighting our clients’ successes. Rather than talking about our capabilities in isolation, we focused on telling compelling, real-world stories that clearly demonstrate our marketing expertise.

In a matter of months, the team delivered a strong portfolio of stories that not only generated significant engagement and views but also deepened relationships with our clients by showcasing their achievements.

This momentum has fuelled a broader resurgence in our marketing, strengthened our LinkedIn presence through consistent, organic content, supported the growth of our video approach, and improved how Bamboo communicates value as we build relationships.

Alongside this, we launched a modern, content-rich website that reflects our current positioning and capabilities. Individual case studies further reinforce this impact, supported by performance metrics that highlight their reach and effectiveness.

Success That Speaks For Itself

Our revitalising initiative’s success rolled into the success of Bamboo’s clients and campaigns. From elevatingTransvault’s legal sector expertise to building Panchaea’s market presence from the ground up, the testimonials from clients speak for themselves.

This success is even more meaningful as Bamboo underwent a several-year marketing hiatus as the business went through an ownership change. This was when our previous owner, Nicola, passed away at a young age. In the face of this tragedy, Marco Fiori took on the role of Managing Director, purchased the company and grew Team Bamboo into a content marketing force rivalling the best.

When Marco took over the day-to-day in 2021, the company was barely surviving with only two people. Now, five years later, we’re powered by a team of seven exciting experts who work tirelessly to creatively curate brand stories, messaging, and campaigns.

Over the last year, our performance has reflected Bamboo’s strong momentum, with continued focus on brand growth and a nuanced strategic approach to B2B tech marketing.

What This Shortlist Means For Us

Bamboo has risen like a phoenix from the ashes of financial strain, owner death, and market despair to become a grounded, successful team that takes pride in its work every single day. We’re incredibly proud of the diversity of talent within our team and the work that continues to deliver excellent value for our clients, year on year.

Bamboo stands out by combining the rigour of strategic marketing with the creativity of an expert team from a variety of professions and crafts, including cybersecurity, journalism, hospitality, entrepreneurship and digital marketing.

What makes us unique is our ability to move beyond one-off campaigns and instead build sustainable content ecosystems, whether that’s transforming a blog into authoritative thought leadership that runs for months and months, securing highly targeted media coverage that reaches the right audiences, or developing in-depth case studies that continuously reinforce brand authority.

Our competitive edge lies in this balance of agility and patience. We don’t chase vanity metrics or sudden trends; we focus on meaningful engagement, relevance, relationships and long-term value. Whilst we can pivot in an instant thanks to our nimble team, we are huge advocates of measured thinking and depth.

Being shortlisted at the 2026 UK Content Awards means being recognised for everyone’s continued efforts to produce brilliant work for our clients and for ourselves.
